Brief

Love Penzance has become the go-to destination for discovering everything happening in and around Penzance. But creating a successful destination brand isn’t just about launching a beautiful website – it’s about building an identity that people recognise, trust and return to.
Working alongside the Penzance BID team, T2 Design has become an extension of the Love Penzance brand, delivering everything from website design and development through to social media campaigns, email marketing, graphic design and ongoing creative support. Every piece of communication has one goal: make people fall in love with Penzance before they even arrive.

The Challenge

Penzance is packed with independent businesses, incredible events, stunning scenery and an ever-changing calendar of things to do. The challenge wasn’t a lack of content; it was bringing everything together into a single, recognisable destination brand that people could easily engage with.

The website needed to become far more than an online brochure. It had to be the town’s digital front door. A place where visitors could discover what’s on, where to eat, where to shop, where to stay and why Penzance should be their next destination.

Alongside the website, the visual identity also needed consistency across social media, digital campaigns and email marketing, creating a recognisable voice that could cut through increasingly noisy social channels.

Our Approach

We completely rebuilt the Love Penzance website with the visitor experience at the heart of every decision. Navigation was simplified, content was restructured and every page was designed to encourage users to keep exploring.

But websites don’t exist in isolation.

Alongside the rebuild we developed an ongoing marketing strategy covering social media management, branded graphics, promotional campaigns and professionally designed Mailchimp newsletters. Every campaign works together, creating one consistent personality across every customer touchpoint.

Whether someone discovers Love Penzance through Instagram, opens an email campaign or lands on the website from Google, the experience feels unmistakably “Love Penzance”.
